Who we are

www.militaryemissions.org is managed by The Conflict and Environment Observatory (CEOBS). The Military Emissions Gap project is a collaboration between CEOBS and the universities of Lancaster and Durham.

We gather anonymised visitor data to allow us to track the impact and dissemination of this website.

Cookies

Installed by Google Analytics, _gid cookie stores information on how visitors use a website, while also creating an analytics report of the website’s performance. Some of the data that are collected include the number of visitors, their source, and the pages they visit anonymously. This cookie expires after one day.  

The _ga cookie, installed by Google Analytics, calculates visitor, session and campaign data and also keeps track of site usage for the site’s analytics report. The cookie stores information anonymously and assigns a randomly generated number to recognise unique visitors. This cookie expires after two years.  

_gat_gtag_UA_211145532_1is set by Google to distinguish users. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

The website utilises the GDPR Cookie Consent plugin. This plugin sets several cookies used to record user consent for further cookies in the “Necessary”, “Functional”, “Performance”,  “Analytics”, “Advertisement”, and “Others” categories. They expire after one year.

What is Cookie consent?
